Jim Sterk, the Director of Athletics at Western Washington University, recently sat down with KPUG The Zone to discuss his thoughts on the current state of athletics at the university.

As the Director of Athletics, Sterk oversees all aspects of the university’s athletic programs, including the hiring of coaches, the development of athletic facilities, and the management of the athletic budget.

“I’m excited about the direction our athletic programs are headed,” Sterk said. “We’ve made some significant changes in the past few years, and I think we’re starting to see the results.”

Sterk also discussed the importance of student-athlete well-being, saying that it’s a top priority for the athletic department.
